How to Check Sold Prices on eBay, Vinted & Depop

Sold prices tell you what buyers actually paid. Here's how to find them on each marketplace.

Updated 3 October 2026

Asking prices tell you what sellers hope to get. Sold prices tell you what buyers actually paid. If you price stock from asking prices, you’ll overpay at the till and wait months for sales.

eBay: the best source of sold data

eBay lets anyone filter search results to completed sales:

  1. Search for the item (brand + model + key detail, e.g. “Barbour Bedale jacket”).
  2. In the filters, tick Sold items (on mobile, it’s under Filter).
  3. Prices shown in green have sold. Look at the last few weeks to see current demand.

Tips:

  • Compare like with like — same model, similar condition, similar size.
  • Ignore the highest and lowest few results; use the typical middle.
  • Count how many sold recently. Lots of sales means it’ll sell quickly.

Vinted

Vinted doesn’t offer a public sold-items filter in the same way. Useful approaches:

  • Look at sellers’ closets — items marked Sold still show a price.
  • Search for the item and see how many active listings there are at each price. If dozens of similar items are listed, prices are under pressure.
  • Use eBay sold prices as a cross-check for the same item.

Depop

On Depop, sold items appear in seller shops marked as sold. As with Vinted, cross-check with eBay sold listings.

Using the numbers

Once you have a realistic sold price:

  1. Use the lower-middle of the range as your target — it’ll sell faster.
  2. Put the buy price and target into the resale value calculator.
  3. Use the max buy price figure as your limit at the till.

Short on time?

When you’re standing in a shop, scan the item for a quick AI estimate of what it sells for. Treat it as a starting point and double-check sold listings for anything expensive.

Found something to resell? Scan it to see its estimated resale value, profit and ROI.
